Iran Was Close to Building Nuclear Weapons
Myth
False. U.S. intelligence assessments have found no evidence that Iran was developing nuclear weapons. Countries can enrich uranium for civilian nuclear energy, research, and medical isotopes. Building a bomb requires additional steps including weapons design, warhead miniaturization, testing, ballistic missiles and higher uranium enrichment levels. Plus, Trump claimed he dismantled Iran’s nuclear weapon capabilities in the 2025 strikes. Institute of Strategic Risk Management
